In today's class we talked about feelings and emotions, we learned words like "sad", "happy", "mad" "joyful" and such. We also learned how to apply these words in sentences like "I'm angry" "I'm in love with you", "you are mad at me". For today we are going to analyze a song and we are going to analyze the feelings that we get from the song, some of the phrases used in the song and the motif, the motif refers to a recurrent phrase that is repeated in the song. The song is "Wonderwall" by the band Oasis. First off, you will listen to the song here:
After you've heard the song, you will answer the following questions:
What does the word "Wonderwall" mean?
What is the feeling you get from the song?
Is the chorus of the song the motif?
What is the meaning of the phrase "And all the lights that lead us there are blinding"
